Strategic Geography of Russia-Ukraine War

ABSTRACT

Despite technological progress, Geography always plays an essential role in foreign policy and strategic and defense policies. Ukraine conflict again instantiated the debates on the global struggle for a favorable geographic setting in the world. This war indicates the return of the Monroe doctrine in Eurasian geopolitics. The present Paper discusses the fundamental elements and implications of strategic geography. The Paper analyzes the historical and cold war struggle to influence and control the different strategic locations of the world. This study also examines the strategic setting of Russia Ukraine war.   There are many domains of the Russia-Ukraine war. The study analyzes the situations and geo-strategic setting of the nuclear, Space, Air, Naval, and Land war in the ongoing Russian-Ukraine military conflict.
