Biography
After his graduation from Istanbul University Department of Political Science and International Relations, he took MA program in the same department with the thesis entitled “Turkey’s Foreign Policy Towards the Iraqi Turkmen”. Between 2013 and 2018, he served as the Middle East Researcher and Project Coordinator in a Think-Tank. His research interests mainly focus on Foreign Policy, Security, and the Middle East. He coordinated many international projects and participated in many international meetings and programs in the field and presented papers and casted speeches. He completed his PhD studies in the Department of International Relations at Galatasaray University with a dissertation titled “The Erosion of Sovereignty and Debates on Neo-Medievalism: A Comparative Analysis of the Status of Mercenaries.”
Besides, Ahmet İŞCAN, who is also the publications director of an art gallery, knows English well and Arabic at the beginning level.
