IDENTITY

DİPAM is a non-profit, independent think tank that is established to provide ideas to decision makers at the national and international level, to open a field of action and to carry out a “track II diplomacy”.

OBJECTIVE

Main Objective;

is to bring into being an institutional and long-term think tank, which carries out international projects at domestic and abroad, has a strong academic basis, and can approach every fraction with its independent structure.

The objectives of the institution in this context; 

is to establish an organization structure that is accepted in national and international levels by strengthening its institutionalization with national and international studies, projects, meetings and writings to be prepared, and to strengthen its ability to create and represent literature.

is to produce needed data parallel with geography in which Turkey is, international system that Turkey is part of and national interest which Turkey has.

is to reveal the reflections of Turkey’s domestic and foreign policy on the international arena and the relevant actors, in addition to Turkey’s image and standing in the eyes of the actors mentioned and to make a way for influence by mobilizing appropriate individuals, institutions and other instruments in these areas.

is to create a formation that can take faster action as an alternative to the mobility of the state under its legal personality.

is to ensure that Turkey’s rhetoric voiced by the independent stance of the institution by means of the relationship network and studies to be provided.

is not to follow Turkey’s daily politics just conjunctural, but to carry out international studies that will create an agenda in the context of its national strategy.

is both to contribute at state level as a result of the projects which is sensitive about international system and national interests having high potential to work together, that is carried out with respectable academician, researchers and enlightened. Also is to contribute national and international literature. 

is to open a strong, national and developable area with the existence of the institution itself and the projects to be prepared by the institution in the international norms

is to come together capacity with all foundations possesing policy suggestion and determination tools such as university, think tank, NGO, and parliament, having different ideas, comments and implementation capacities abroad to expand the analysis.

is to contribute to both Turkish foreign policy and the literature with the follow-up, interpretation and analysis of the developments in the world within the framework of the institution’s study areas and themes.

AIM

The institution that will work in international norms for national interests with its independent institutionalization structure, is to contribute to Turkey’s medium and long term policies and supporting infrastructure proposal creation process.

The institution is to create a different and subjective source to be told the source of the main agendas in Turkey in the international arena. In the institutions with which it is in contact with the identity of the independent think tank, methods is to be determined before the points of contact and perceptual constraints, without concern for academic and political legitimacy, taking into account the conditions of the respective countries; thus, information transfer is to be easier.

The institution is to prepare unpredictable texts far from stereotype phenomenon by evaluating different perspectives together in an academic pot, interpreting each individual development within itself.

The institutions is to contribute to the promotion of Turkey by way of projects to be carried out at domestic and abroad.

The institution is to contribute to development in many fields such as media and politics developing appropriate projects to the age of the Earth and Turkey’s progress in the direction of academia, think tanks.

The institution is to bring up young researchers who able to combine theoretical education with practice with the tasks to be taken within the institution and / or the facilities provided by the institution. Thus this is to create added value in professional life such as academia and politics.

METHOD

is to impose the existence of the institution with researchers with academic and / or think-tank experience with different thinking structures by creating its financial structure to support its independent existence that will form the foundation of the organization.

is to carry out the work that is the hallmark of all think tanks in the international arena, with the widest possible participation with different interpretations.

to ensure that international issues are understood and steps are taken to solve them by using new diplomacy visions and forms. To evaluate all possible forms of public diplomacy (digital, culture, art, academia, media, private sector etc.) in this frame.

is to develop activities, writings and projects in these areas in particular by identifying the areas of conflict in Turkey. 

to provide support with the studies to be made on the basis of countries in cases where international acceptance is required for the solution of these areas.

is to develop projects by cooperating with many legitimate national and international institutions in line with national interests and academic necessity.

İs to distribute the information quickly and in large areas by using conventional and new media channels simultaneously at the end of the studies and make social returns a part of the work.

is to make it possible for both institutions to make sense of the developments in their region by exchanging experts with institutions abroad through bilateral agreements to be provided.
