The accelerating global transformation in recent years has created the need for a more decisive basis for the foreign policies of some countries. Especially the strategic discussions on the great powers enabled the words of the new/revived powers to be heard.
Türkiye has recently improved its role in its region and globally with its strategic power accumulation and policies. Claiming that it has increased both its hard and soft power, Türkiye has taken the global transformation process seriously and started to develop policies within this framework. This foreign policy vision, including policies that have been ongoing for a while and newly designed ones, causes different effects such as regional policy development, reviewing bilateral cooperation or getting inspired.
For this reason, DIPAM has designed a program in which it envisages to share detailed information about the issues with students and researchers from all over the world who are interested in these new situations and Turkish foreign policy. The classes that will take place in an interactive way will try to illuminate the points which the participants are especially curious about.
Implementation
The reading list and several resources on the topics will be shared with the participants. Each class consists of approximately 90 minutes, in which the theoretical lecture and the interactive method focused on the participants are used together.
All of the classes will be held online (Zoom app.) and those who attend at least 75% of the classes of a section (9 classes) will be entitled to receive a “Certificate of Attendance”.
