Biography
Zehra AYDIN received her bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Istanbul Medeniyet University and her master’s degree in the same department with a thesis titled “The Solution of International Disputes with Peaceful Methods: Galtung Modeling”. She is currently studying her PhD at Marmara University, Department of Political Science and International Relations with her thesis titled “Peaceful Resolution of Conflicts in International Law: An Analysis in the Framework of the Protracted Social Conflict Theory”.
Her areas of expertise are international law and peace studies. In addition to these fields, Aydın has published and presented papers in regions such as Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Libya and on issues such as human rights and the environment. Zehra Aydın, who has previously worked in various think tanks, speaks fluent English and beginner level Bosnian.
