The Young Leaders 2023 Program organized by the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB) is being held in Ankara. The program, organized under the theme of “Young People of the Diaspora Discussing the Future: 2050 Vision and the Turkish Diaspora”, Turkish students from different parts of the world are given lectures on diaspora ideas, actions and policies by experts in the field in Turkey and visits are planned.
Chairman of DİPAM Dr. Tolga SAKMAN gave a lecture on “Participation of the Turkish Diaspora in the European Political System” in this program. Within the scope of the lecture, the phenomenon of political participation was evaluated through the opportunities in European states and the opportunities that the Turkish community has. The ways and effects of political participation from the Turkish Diaspora at different levels and intensities were discussed multilaterally.
