Biography
Merve Tamer completed her undergraduate education at Marmara University, Department of Political Science and International Relations. Also she worked there as an student assistant and worked for Skylife, Anadolu Jet and Sun Times Magazines in Müessese İletişim as an intern editor. Currently she continues her master’s degree at Istanbul Medeniyet University, Department of International Relations. Merve Tamer, has been third in branch history in Turkey the competition which she wrote in 2011 with the title “Multiparty Transition Government and opposition relations in the process of Samsun Case” TUBITAK work organized by the research project. She took part in workshops of “Globilizing IR” and “Contending Issues in Global Governance”. She takes part at DİPAM as a coordinato. She is interested in Japan, East Asia, environmental policy, soft power and public diplomacy.
